BiOZEEN awarded the Innovation Excellence Award 2014 for Innovation in Technology Adoption

BiOZEEN, Bangalore Biotech Labs Pvt. Ltd., has been awarded with Innovation Excellence Award 2014 by the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry in partnership with Government of India, Government of Karnataka, NSIC and Ernst & Young as the process partner.The award was won under the category of “Innovation in Technology Adoption” for the Continuous Bio-inactivation System; a product line targeted at effective treatment of bio-waste generated in a (Bio)Pharmaceutical Manufacturing process and was presented to Dr. Vibin B Joseph, Executive Director, BiOZEEN, by The Honorable Indian Union Cabinet Minister of MSME’s, Shri. Kalraj Mishra on 17 June, 2014.
The Continuous Bio-inactivation System is engineered and designed to optimize the energy utilization and has proven to be 65% more efficient than conventional batch models in use today, hence reducing the environmental footprint. This fully automated system has been designed, fabricated and tested as per ASME and conforms to international environmental norms and guidelines indicated by US-FDA, EMEA, WHO and other national regulatory bodies.
The elite panel comprising of juries with varied experience and expertise evaluated BiOZEEN’s technical capabilities and process know-how. Amidst tough competition, BiOZEEN managed to bag this award for the energy efficient system functionality, ease of use, favorable operational utilization characteristics, conformance to international guidelines and minimal environmental footprint in addition to the cost savings.
