  • Principles of operating industrial heat sterilizers such as Autoclave and Dry Heat Sterilizers (DHS)
  • Understand the concepts of Cleaning In Place (CIP) & Sterilization In Place (SIP)
  • Explore the engineering concepts of bioprocess equipments using P&ID
  • Analyze various problems encountered during Dead End Filtration.
  • Comprehend filter integrity testing
  • Assess filter integrity and execute protocols to differentiate between hydrophilic and hydrophobic filters

Practical Learning Objectives:

  • Learn the principles of operating industrial heat sterilizers such as Autoclave and Dry Heat Sterilizers (DHS)
  • Understand the concepts and perform Sterilization In Place (SIP) and Cleaning In Place (CIP).
  • Understand the concepts and perform Full vessel (FSIP) and Empty vessel (ESIP) Sterilization in place
  • Explore the engineering concepts of bioprocess equipments using P&ID.
  • Explore the engineering principles and validation of bioprocess equipments
  • Analyze HVAC, clean utility and regulatory requirements in the biopharma industry.
  • Perform IQ, OQ,PQ of general sterilizers
